Fishbowl survey has shown that people who work in marketing and advertising, computer professionals, and consultants use AI chatbots the most. According to survey results, those who work in marketing and advertising have been the ones to adopt AI programs the fastest. 

  1. Three-quarters of these professionals (37%) have utilized the application to help with work-related tasks. 
  2. Tech employees came in second with 35%, followed by consultants with 30%.
  3. Healthcare has the lowest usage with 15%, where as Accounting and Teaching come in at 16% and 19%, respectively. 

In the survey, 30% of men and 20% of women had adopted ChatGPT. Workers from Generation Z (those born in the late 1990s to early 2000s) have used ChatGPT at the highest rate (29%), across all age categories. Millennials are at 27%, while Generation X is at 28%.

Given ChatGPT's potential, many have pondered whether future versions of the software might displace white-collar labor. Additionally, ChatGPT is purportedly seen by Google as a significant threat to its search engine. The tech giant is reportedly rushing to respond by releasing its own chatbots that are driven by AI, according to startup and small business strategy consultant M Mahmood.

Microsoft on the other hand, was a leading investor in OpenAI, the firm that owns ChatGPT and is potentially investing another $10 Billion in the company. It also plans to incorporate the chatbot in its office applications, along with its Google competitor search engine Bing.
